A shirt I made for one of my favorite models:

Shirt I had started creating at my last craft party - it has scissors, spiderwebs, skulls and corsets stamped on it, as well as a glitter lightning bolt, bows, and laces up the back with silvery grommets and black ribbon. I host a craft party every three months, and I wanted to show the participants what you could do with a plain brand new cotton tee. I was actually making it for my favorite punk rocker model (in-progress photo on flickr), Zaidee. She finally got the shirt (thanks, usps) and sent me a photo of her wearing it - she rocks!

This top is one of my favorites so far! I made this top using stretchy black lace with a silvery white floral design. I crocheted a halter top piece in black acrylic yarn, and attached it to the top of the halter, and added pretty beaded velvet ribbon with pleated mesh at the top. The crocheted halter had split rings and silver ribbons attached to them to secure the top. I also put grosgrain foldover elastic around the top edge.

Skull hoodie I created using a brand new red cotton shirt. I added spandex striped sleeves, hood , and a stencil of a skull and crossbones. I also added a crochet border to the hood.

Fuchsia, that's what I call this outfit. Top from the Vanity Exotique fashion show. Made from a lightweight synthetic, very comfortable to wear. Spicy and cute at the same time, nice bit of color to cheer up your wardrobe. Skirt not available.

My inspiration for this top was a black lacy collar and button placket I cut from a Charlotte Russe top and the infamous dinner scene from Flashdance. The placket had five buttons, I left two of the original black buttons and replaced the other three with Austrian crystal buttons by JHB (no cheap buttons here!). The front of the halter is made with a blue ruffled spandex, and the back has a stretchy grey knit shot with silver threads.

Reconstructed (washed) Old Navy miniskirt made of a distressed cotton and distressed velvet (velvet is on some edges and as a stripe on each side of skirt).

I dyed the velvet blue, added sequins to the waist area (sewed on and reinforced with a little permanent fabric glue), stenciled Asian symbols of Energy and Peace on the front pockets, and stylized bamboo trees to the hem.

I used a dark blue permanent fabric marker to color around and over parts of the velvet, for a dimensional look. I added two layers of pleated and gathered tulle in shimmery pink and turquoise sewn to the skirt with a silver metallic ribbon.

I added a red velvety ribbon to the hem (there is a little red bow in back) and some soft white lace to the inside of the hem. To top it off, I sprayed the whole thing with permanent fabric glitter in silver, looks like fairy dust!

Care: Hand wash cold water, drip or lay flat to dry. A little glitter may come off when washed, but this is normal.
