A perfect place for your smallest keepsakes, this papier-mache box is decorated in a collage style with various types of paper. The entire box is sealed with a decoupage glue/sealer. The top of the box is a collage of birds, butterflies, and English and French words. The sides are covered with a textured ivory wrapping paper with gold studs in a floral pattern. The same paper is in little pieces on the top.
The overall size of the box is about 8" in diameter and just over 3" deep. The opening of the box is nearly 7-1/2". Shipping cost is $3.50 within the US. Merci!

Boston MA2 1139This elegant necklace is simple yet vibrant, perfect for matching any occasion or outfit - wear it with your favorite cocktail dress or with a casual shirt and jeans! This beautiful design consists of gold and purple Sakura (cherry blossoms), against a sage background, gold clouds, and dustings of silver.
The design is made out of delicate handmade chiyogami washi paper (traditional Japanese paper). This glass pendant is just shy of 2"x1" (45x20mm), and comes with a dainty 18" (45cm)sterling silver plated chain included with purchase.
NOTE: The back is coated with a water-based sealant to make this pendant water-resistant, but for the longest lasting wear, keep necklace out of water (e.g. shower, swimming), and extreme heat. Also, given the nature of this paper, each pendant is one-of-a-kind, therefore your pendant will be very similar, but not 100% identical to the one pictured.

Note that there are flecks of other colors in these beads. Each bead is different; no two are the same. My paper beads range in length from 1/2"-2" with an average length of 1".
I am often asked if these beads can get wet. I recently finished doing an "experiment" with my paper beads... I submerged some in a cup of water. After 24 hours there was absolutely no damage done!

Monte Vista CO2 930No kidding! It's made of old blue jeans! You need special equipment to process the jeans, and I have been blessed with just such a machine!
These are individually pulled and, as such, are celebrated for their uniqueness. This means that it is unlikely that you will receive exactly what is pictured here, but something from the same work lot is promised.
They are both internally and externally sized, so they are very strong and will not bleed-I test them with a Sharpie! They are acid and lignin free. I regularly use these papers for printmaking, bookmaking, letters, drawing, painting(with clear gesso), collage--I have even trimmed them and used them in an ink jet printer. I know artists that have resized them with gelatin and printed photos on them. If you let me know what you have in mind, I will pick the best of the lot for your purposes. (again, they vary :)
This is for a lot of 6 pieces, all approximately 16x22". They come in a very sturdy mailing tube so that they will not be creased. This accounts for most of the mailing weight, but the tube is reusable and worth the effort to preserve your paper.
