Snoopy first decided to be an author back in 1968 and the first words he ever typed were -
It was a dark and stormy night.
I’m not sure he ever got any further on his quest to write the great American novel. It certainly wouldn’t appear so as his paper is blank and I don’t recall ever seeing his work at Barnes and Noble. Still he looks pretty happy with himself at his opening line.

Toad is another one of my needle felted critters. He is made of corriedale wool roving stabbed millions of times to become this cute mushroom defender. Toad comes with his own handmade, numbered, dated, storied and signed hangtag perfect for showing of his uniqueness.
I have called Toad a toy but he is probably better suited to older collectors of unique handmade toys or computer game fanatics than children as I am not entirely sure of how the wool will hold up to too much loving.
