4143Made with sterling silver and fresh water pearls, this pair of earrings resembles the pussy willow plant. Smooth, gorgeous pearls were slowly wrapped onto wire to form an elegant pair of earrings, great for work and dinners.
Length is 1 3/4 inch, width is approximately 1/4 inch. Size of pearls is 3.5mm to 4mm (2/8 inch).
Interesting info:
The Chinese refer the plant as “Pussy Willow” or "Yin Liu" in Mandarin. In Cantonese, “Yin Liu” sounds like "Yin Lou" which is similar to "Yin Liang" (money). Therefore, having this plant around during Chinese New Year would represent the invitation of abundant luck and prosperity into homes.
