Portland OR61Three beautiful coin pearls were suspended between strips of sterling silver to create this stunning pendant.
Sterling silver wire was flattened through a rolling mill and then hammered for texture. Coin pearls were "trapped" on balled sterling wire between the strips, allowing them to spin freely. The pearls are a beautiful silvery grey with flashes of purple, blue and green. The entire piece was given a lovely black patina and then scrubbed with steel wool to allow the hammer marks to shine through. The pendant measures approximately 3/4 inch wide by 2 inches long and hangs from 16 inches of sterling silver chain. A sterling silver lobster claw completes the piece.

Arturo is one of the Coffee Pot People. He stands about two feet high, and is made entirely of found/recycled ceramic pieces, including a coffee pot and lid, old lamp base, and a dinner plate from my own kitchen cabinet.

Prudence, (or Prue, as her friends all call her) is in love with her job. She works as a hostess at the most popular nightclub in town, and gets to hear all the newest all-the-rage bands for free gratis, and on top of that gets to dress up every night and go out on the town.
Her feet get tired, but when that happens she corrals a lonesome customer and gets him to dance with her. That always puts new spring in her feet. Did I say a lonesome customer? Not always. Up for grabs is our version of a pirate hat made special just for dogs. we used a heavy black felt material for the base of the hat, and ribbon for tieing around dogs neck to keep hat on. Each hat has a tiny little skull bead sewn to the top of the hat, a skull fabric square sewn into the front and on the back "aaaaarrf" drawn on with a fabric paint pen.

Nitrogenous fertilizers tend to create acid conditions, which are fatal to the worms, and often dead specimens are to be found on the surface following the application of substances like DDT, lime sulphur and lead arsenate. In Australia, the use of superphosphate on pastures almost completely wiped out the giant Gippsland earthworm.

Portland OR4-3/4" high, this red and white crackle pot was hand-thrown on a wheel. Black underglaze was used on the inside, and red on the outside.
